Child Development Associate
(CDA)
Program

from The University of Cincinnati

Are you interested in gaining in-depth knowledge of child development?
Would you like to be a professional in the early childhood education field?
Have you been wondering how you can afford to continue your education?
What is the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential?

How is this CDA program different from others?
This course will help center-based and family child care providers gain the skills to create an environment that promotes safe and healthy physical, social and emotional development of children, ages birth to five.
  • Your textbooks, a $300 value, will be provided free of charge by 4C.
  • The course is one year long, offered in four separate modules (3 credits each).
  • Quality and college credit: This course is offered in partnership with the University of Cincinnati, and participants earn college credit towards an associate degree.
  • Convenience: The program will be offered in convenient 4C facilities.
  • Support for You: Coaching, tutoring, and other resources available to help participants succeed.
