Team Leader, Family and Community Services

4C for Children has a full-time opening in our Miami Valley office for a Team Leader. This position will oversee the day-to-day operation of 4C's family and community services. The Team Leader hires and develops a skilled team of specialists, oversees a budget, monitors progress through evaluation and partners to ensure the consistent quality delivery of 4C programs. Working closely with other Team Leaders and Strategic Directors, the Team Leader inspires front line staff to support parents in their efforts to access quality child care and nurture children's early learning and development. The Team Leader is a seasoned professional with a passion for engaging parents as their child's first and best teacher. Collaboration, positivity and problem solving are key characteristics of a successful candidate for the Team Leader position.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in early childhood education or related human services, including two years in a leadership role.The ideal candidate has experience in resource navigation and project management, is collaborative and self-directed, can set priorities and meet deadlines, has effective communication skills and provides excellent customer service.

Specialist, Quality Programs (Dayton)

4C for Children is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join the Quality Programs team. This is a full-time position, based in our Dayton Office. The ideal candidate brings a passion for supporting those who work with children, primarily in child care centers.

The quality programs specialist will provide coaching and training to teachers and administrators throughout Miami Valley. Resource Specialist, Family and Community Services

4C for Children is looking for a positive, energetic individual to provide early childhood resources, child care referrals and parenting education to families. The specialist will work as part of a team to improve the wellness of families through family playtime groups and phone-based parenting support.

We are looking to fill one full-time position, based in our Dayton office. The specialist will provide counseling and referrals to families on the selection of child care. They will also connect families to community services, provide follow-ups, and support families as they navigate systems and work to access child care resources. This position will regularly assist with the facilitation of 4C Play & Learn groups and some presentations on parenting. They will spend time building and maintaining effective collaborative partnerships with parents through high-quality customer service, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. A qualified candidate will be comfortable collecting, entering, and filing large amounts of evaluations data for Family and Community Services programs.

The resource specialist will have a Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood development, social work or related field and a proven ability to relate to a broad spectrum of parents and demonstrate respect of their experience, knowledge and diversity. We are seeking a candidate who has experience in public speaking, delivering workshops or facilitating groups. The ability to problem solve, make independent decisions, set priorities and manage resources needed to achieve goals is crucial to the success of this position. All candidates must have experience using I.T. systems for research, resource navigation and record keeping. Reliable transportation is required.

Development Officer

4C for Children is looking for a talented and dynamic fundraising executive to join our growing Agency Advancement team. The Development Officer will provide leadership in expanding 4C’s base of individual and corporate donors to increase charitable support for the organization and ensure a sound financial future. This full-time position is based in our Cincinnati Office. Key responsiblities include managing and growing all aspects of the organization’s annual Gala in order to achieve revenue targets, as well as managing the organization’s Annual Giving program including individual and corporate donor accounts.
