4C names 2014 Champions for Children

4C will honor three "champions" for their work ensuring bright futures for children in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. This year's Champions for Children Celebration will be held January 24, 2015, at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza.
The 2014 honorees are:
- Kay Geiger, longtime supporter of children and Regional President of PNC Bank
- Christopher Lewis, MD, founder and president of the Village Life Outreach Project
- United Way of Greater Cincinnati, which has enhanced the lives of children in our community for almost 100 years
This is the ninth year 4C has named Champions for Children. "4C is in a unique position to turn the spotlight on those who work to ensure a bright future for the children of our community," says 4C President/CEO Sallie Westheimer. "By so doing, 4C hopes to inspire others to become involved in addressing our community's continuing need to ensure that all children have a positive experience and are prepared for success in school and life."
Co-chairs Tiffiny Dawson and Ann Williams are leading the 4C Champions for Children Committee which includes: Katie Hayden, Mary Kay Irwin, Carole Rigaud, Merri Gaither Smith, Sarah Theodore, Patti Towbin, Joelle Tunning and Nan Witten.
