Nominations Being Accepted for June Sciarra Early Childhood Leadership Award
January 21, 2016
The June Sciarra Early Childhood Leadership Award was created by 4C in 2012 to recognize and honor individuals who have made a difference in the lives of young children and families. It is presented annually to one child care program administrator for outstanding service on behalf of young children and families.
The deadline for nominations for this year's award is March 1. To be nominated, a child care program administrator must demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of early childhood education; possess a leadership role in improving child care with high-quality standards, family involvement and advocacy; and improve the quality of life for young children. Administrators are encouraged to have a coworker, parent, teacher or community representative nominate them!
This award will be presented at the Leadership and Early Childhood Conference on April 15, 2016, at the Sharonville Convention Center. The nomination form can be completed online or you can download it and drop it in the mail. For additional information, please contact Sadie Bonifas at 513-758-1221.
