This has been an incredibly unpredictable and difficult year as the pandemic has impacted each of us and our community in different and profound ways. Throughout the pandemic, you’ve probably seen and heard messages of everyone being “in this together” although we are physically distant. It’s through that collective thinking and working together that truly amazing things have been accomplished in our community.
Innovation and collaboration have driven our work at 4C for Children this past year. We are so incredibly grateful for the community support that has enabled us to deliver critically needed tools and resources to local child care providers, children and working families throughout the pandemic. Here are some highlights of the impact you helped make:
- 3,354 local child care providers attended 333 virtual 4C for Children training sessions
- 798 families were supported by 4C for Children in their search for safe and affordable child care
- 4,422 coaching sessions led by 4C for Children coaching staff with local child care providers
- 518 Child Development Associate (CDA) classes facilitated by 4C for Children staff with 160 providers completing the 4C CDA program
Our sincere thanks to everyone who has rallied around families and the child care provider community this past year. We truly are all in this together.
